TOS is edited and written entirely by a passionate, in-the-know staff of local experts in their respective fields. Our editorial staff scours the city each month for the inside scoop on what our readers want to see and do. The result: the most up-to-date listings source in the city. As a rapidly growing company, we are looking for talented leaders to join our team.

We need a web-savvy person to help upload listings, resize photos and cross-link listings on the website. Looking at 20 hours of work. Interested applicants can inquire with Edwin Tam.
You will be part of a fun and busy publishing office and see how both a leading magazine and website operate. Internships can be full or part time but must be for any specified period over 1 month.
We at Time Out Singapore are on the look out for bright, motivated individuals who have a passion for media and a drive to succeed in the world of Time Out! The ideal candidate will have some marketing/advertising coursework and/or events experience.
What We Are Looking For?
-Marketing background and/or relevant coursework
-Skills in Microsoft Office applications (excel/outlook/powerpoint)
-Mastery of the English language, advanced writing skills, and some design skills preferred
-Quick learner with the ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail
-Positive, can-do attitude and a great sense of creativity
-Strong interpersonal capacity and comfort in social situations
-Hands on events experience from planning to logistics to promotion
Responsiblities:
-Assist Time Out Marketing in implementing branding strategies with action to help meet marketing & sales revenue goals
-Assist in preparation of branding/sales materials and other creative collateral
-Assist in setting up, running and coordinating marketing campaigns and events
-Assist in Database Management and coordination of marketing mailers etc.
-Assist in sourcing for events sponsors for various small and large scale initiatives
-Partake in all other ad-hoc duties

You will be repurposing print content for the website. Expect to create original web content that uses videos, photography and text. Some online marketing involved. Must be able to write well, quickly and succintly.

You will be working with the Art Director with developing templates and original layouts for each feature, from designing graphic elements to choosing images. You’ll also be tasked with page layouts and execution. Must be proficient with InDesign CS2, illustrator CS2 and Photoshop CS2. Photography skills an added bonus.
Applicants for an internship at Time Out Singapore should be bright, efficient, have good typing and communication skills and be prepared to work on many different aspects of the magazine and website. Duties may include; requesting photos, writing, fact checking, calling in items for photo shoots and mail outs.
